gives excellent control, hasn't stalled on me yet. two slight problems: when received, the depth adjustment was stiff - the motor unit rubbed on the base casing. I was going to use dry lube spray, but a few uses loosened it up perfectly.The other issue is the chuck, which doesn't have the double-tightening safety feature I am used to on my large router. I don't know if this is standard in this size, but it took some getting used to. Makes adjusting the depth of insertion of the bit into the collet slightly difficult.But between the control it gives me, the illumination of the work area, and being [for a router] quiet, I find it is my go-to router for the majority of my work, such as edge trimming and roundovers.I haven't used it enough to discuss the durability of this reconditioned model.
