Giving the item 5 stars since I've never had an issue with ECHO.Updating my original review to note this head does fit my SRM-2100. Upon closer inspection, the metal shaft from my original trimmer head was still attached to the trimmer.SO, for anyone else that attempts to install this head and the threads on your trimmer appear too small, ...look again. Be sure your old trimmer head center shaft have been removed from the trimmer. Once done (and note the threads are reverse!) this new trimmer head went right on, no issues.
