Works great but arms for the rubber fingers are week had one brake off and I have had it less than two monthsThis thing is awesome, and not even that expensive considering the time it saves. I bought this because I had two plants Ive needed to trim for weeks but haven't wanted to waste hours of my time clipping each individual leaf off of hundreds of buds . It's very easy to use, as soon as I took it out of the box both of the buds were trimmed within about 5 minutes, as I already had the stems all debudded prior to getting this. The only downside is the smallest of the buds will easily fall through the grate. If you don't care about that just leave them behind and use it in your trim to make edibles or whatever. But I spend another 20 minutes or so sifting through the trim to collect all the small buds. The larger ones that stay above the grate , were trimmed very well. A few had a small piece of a leaf stuck to them that was very easily plucked off but the majority of them were good to go. I used it on dry bud with the serrated blade. The picture attached is just one example, it was just the first bud I picked from the jar, by no means is it the best of the bunch but this is the quality of the trim. This thing is sturdy and very well made! Can’t wait to use it! Pics don’t do it justice. The price is right in point with the quality!Only thing that sucks is no way to get ahold of the manufacturer. Would be nice if they actually listed a website or contact information. The big question IN THE INSTRUCTIONS IT SAYS WHEN DONE...CLEAN EASY? HOW AND WITH WHAT IS NOWHERE TO BE FOUND? HOW ABOUT CONTACT INFORMATION???TLDR:Overall buy a smaller version if you are using for small to medium scale processing. Expect to have less finished product of slightly lower quality, but in return you have a butt ton of shake and trim to process for kief and rosin.Full version:First thing off the bat, the actual product is of amazing quality. I really get a kick every time I need to harvest. you feel like your using a miniature peice if manufacturing equipment (because you are).Actual machining is great. the crank and gear system is smoothe and does not take a lot of effort. I got the largest version and if I were to purchase again I would go for the smallest instead. Simply because the large one is massive so your gonna need a big closet or space to store when not in use.I had been trimming through this harvest for about 2 weeks and only finished 1/3rd and I said screw it let's try this out. Had a buddy come over and we finished the remainiy 2/3 of the harvest in 5 hours. This is the one thing I wish I would have bought sooner. Now for some possible pros or cons depending on your needs:This decreased the quantity and some of the quality of my finished harvest by half, tldr if bud your putting in is amazing it will take it down to great. The flip side is good meaning I don't have to take care of as much flower, because I grow for the sport of it and for personal use.The biggest side benefit is the quantity you loose becomes A LOT OF SHAKE AND KEIF that you can then process further into keif or rosin by pressing or dry sifting respectively. What a great timesaver and fantastic value!Last year it took us a little over a week, few hours twice a day, to trim the outdoor harvest. Well, this year I have triple the volume and I don’t want to pay friends to trim. So, tried this out.I tried several methods.First I hung dry normal, tossed it in and spun. Second try was removing fans, hang normal, toss & spin. Doesn’t matter what you do ahead of time, putting dry flowers in this thing will be sad to watch. Big flowers become small and all of your popcorn flowers will get shredded. Ok…Wet trim had some success. Removing fans ahead of time helped, but trimming wet (when the flowers were at peak strength) allowed the flower to survive the spinner and the popcorns survived too. I did have to buy one of those hanging “spice drying” racks (which is actually legit) since I was cutting up branches and trimming wet. After drying in the rack if you put it in the spinner they will be eaten, so do touch ups with normal trimmers.Either way it did 70% of the work 700% faster. Oh! And cut off about half an inch-ish of the rubber fingers before you use it. They’re way too long and just kind of smash the flowers, the flowers are light, they roll just fine by being pushed. You’ll see.If you’re trimming by the pound(s) this is worth a try, but if you’re by the OZ don’t be lazy, just use snips. You’ll waste more than you’d prefer to…I used it to trim marijauna buds . It works like a charm. From the plant to the trimmer 30 slow cranks and doneMan I hate writing reviews and usually copy and paste the same thing on all of them but this product forced my hand... a...maz...ing... normal size outdoor plant with 11 big colas and one monster of a cola ... cut them down, trimmed the big fan leaves off - (45 min to 1 hour) then straight to this beast of a machine, I don’t say beast because it’s made of heavy duty material (it’s actually pretty sturdy and well made) but I say beast because it took 12-13 hours off my job.... nuts! Still waiting to wake up and see my plants in tact outside waiting to be harvested... I did wake up once and thought the machine was a dream... wish I was kidding... getting off track... I filled the rack (not super tight but snug) and cranked that bad boy 15 times at a normal pace then 15 at a picked up pace. I popped open the lid and shuffled the buds around so it’s spread out again and repeated process but 30 straight turns at regular pace..... it trimmed the sugar leaves and excess fan leaf stems or smaller fan leaves and bro... that’s it... it went straight from beast to drying rack.... start to finish including cleaning the machine which doesn’t take much time or effort at all was roughly 3.5 hours... with smoke breaks .... I’d pay double for thisI am totally impressed with this device.Totally kick-ass. I can do a plant in under 30 minutes with very little waste and no sticky fingers. Comes with an extra blade too!I am not trying to be dramatic, but whoever invented this should be given the nobel prize and a lifetime supply of jawbreakers. After a heavy harvest this fall, I ordered the bowl trimmer in hopes that it would lower the trimming/processing time for my plants. I read numerous reviews and got the feeling that this product will roughly trim your buds and save between 50-70% of your time. They were right! After filling the grill (you do need to put enough in that the bottom is covered, but not too full that they buds clump together into a ball), you put the top on and turn it roughly 30 times to finish trimming all buds. I take the top off every 5-10 turns to reallocate the buds evenly across the grill. Once complete most of the buds are almost completely trimmed, though many will have some small leaves protruding. roughly 15-20% of buds need a quick trim to get rid of pesky leaves that didn't get snipped.Overall, if it takes 10hrs to process a plant completely without this device, adding this device will make it closer to 3hrs total. You will need a drying rack as you need to use fresh/wet buds as opposed to dry buds. You'll need to have a good place for them to dry after. But since I grow outdoor, this device is PERFECT. I don't do much trimming after using this device as I'm okay with a small leaf here and there. I can process a full 7ft plant in 2-3hrs using this device.at $225 roughly - this is amazing value. I can't recommend it enough!I’ve been using this product for about the last year and it has saved me countless hours on multiple harvests. Whilst the end product still requires some manicuring, it takes a lot of the upfront work out of the trimming process. When someone mentioned it in a review that the person who invented this marvelous machine should get a Nobel Prize, wasn't that far off...ha...This trimmer saved me hours of trimming and not to mention how meticulous and somewhat frustrating it is to concentrate for hours on end not to wastefully cut into the Bud(s). The only complaint I have is the price however how can you put a price on an item that saves you hours of work?? Believe me, I had put this purchase off for years as the cost scared me off however I now regret not getting it years ago. Do yourself a "solid" and get this fantastic trimmer and spend less time trimming and more time smoking :)
