I gave it 4 starts and not 5 overall because my previous razor shaved my face stubble easier, but still works greatThis set is just what I needed. I was able to get a nice crisp beard and a smooth bald head. I highly recommend this set especially with all the extras that come with the bundle.Love these items. The trimmers are perfect for kid since the are so quite. My only problem is that they don’t give any indication that they are about to die, they just stop so I bought two sets.The greatest trimmerI shaved my face and the sides of my head and barely used any battery. The trimmer though is much nicer than the shaver to me though. The trimmer worker really well to trim up the area above my ears and around the edge of my beard, as well as to pick off several of the out of sorts beard hairs. I can see myself using the trimmer on a weekly basis if not more.The shaver is OK. The included instructions, which I would give a 7/10 for clarity, say to stretch your skin a bit and that did seem to help. I was using it on my neck below my beard and it did take care of many of the hairs in that area but I had to go over it several times. It had been a week since I shaved that part of my neck though so the hairs might have been a little bit too long for the shaver. It did eventually get all of them. The manual also says your skin needs time to get used to that kind of shaver so I plan to use it 3-4 times a week to get used to it and really give it a shot.It's a pretty good set, nothing super amazing about it though, just gets the job done. You can get IPX4 to IPX7 on the latest gen competitors=The LCD is bare minimum. The latest gen ones have % remaining, low power, needs oil. Dots is pretty boring.Foil Shaver:ProsIPX7: Can be submerged up to 1 meter in water for 30 minutes. That's the major plus here. the other foil shavers I see do not offer any water proofing=If you check out the product photos, you can buy alternative heads + aloe strips which I haven't seen offered in other foil shavers. It's $22 or so for alternative heads and $13 for aloe strips.=Never seen aloe strips offered on these before, that's cool. Aloe is great and you should grow the base plant on your own as well.= 2-hour use is about 30 mins=looks awesome, you can just place it in the base to charge vs. having to plug it back in too=includes a power block which most sets do not (but for this price it should)=includes a nice cover which al the other foil shavers I see do not include.=includes a fast charge option with only 5 mins for a complete shaveCons=LCD is the most basic % remaining vs. other ones that have about 4 pieces of information.=Price is crazy about double vs. others=You are always paying for the SURPEME name here. Their stuff is more costly than other brands but a bit more quality in areas.=cable is custom to hair clippers and you need this specific cable to charge. If you lose it, you'll have to buy a replacement and you can't use other cables to charge.=no USB-C input
